Early Pyrex oval covered casserole dish Features floral etched lid Glass has a slight yellow cast Sits inside a metal reticulated floral holder made by Farberware Brooklyn, NY Lid is marked "Pyrex" and 293-C or 297-C Dish is marked 193-293- an P6 Bottom is marked with Pyrex in all caps within a circle and Corning Glassworks' CG monogram above and below, and also with T.M. REG. above and U.S. PAT. OFF. below The dish without lid measures 8 1/4" x 6" The dish has some rough edges and wear commensurate with age on the bottom The lid is in very good condition The metal Farberware holder maintains its original finish. If you prefer it to be shiny, I'll leave the polishing to you. The inside edge of the bottom rim has a 1/2" area that's bent inward but is still functional. Can't be seen when resting on a flat surface.
