Description
This is an unusual design, etched cranberry glass sugar or jam bowl with the slotted lid and accompanying silver plate spoon from the Jeannette Glass Company, c. 1950. The bowl is etched with 5 horizontal stripes. The spoon is repousse style and engraved with "LIBERTY BELL PHILADELPHIA" and an engraving of the bell. It may or may not have been the original spoon. The bowl height is 3", 4" with the lid, the top and bottom diameter is 3" and the spoon is 4 1/2" long. The condition is good, one possible tiny ding inside underneath the lid. There is age and use related wear to the cranberry finish. A nice addition to a collection of cranberry glass.
