This antique Fry Glass Co. casserole from the 1920s in the beautiful pearl opalescent glass measures 8" x 6". The lid is etched with a charming flower pattern. The mold number on the bottom of the bowl, is NOT the year it was made. The mold number for this piece, 1932, is followed by -8 which indicates that it is an 8" casserole. The bottom of the casserole is marked: "Fry Ovenglass 1932-8 Pat. 5-8-17 Pat. 5-27-19" The lid is not only etched with a flower design, it also has the mold number 1932-8 and the name Fry. Both pieces are in excellent condition. There are some bubbles in the glass, but that is common in glass pieces of this age. The lid has some very tiny "flea bites" or chips on both the outside and inside of the lid's rim. They do not detract from the beauty or utility of the piece. They can be seen in the last 2 pictures.
